Gibby Parra and Arizona’s Family Surprise Squad went to Fry’s Food Stores to surprise some lucky shoppers by handing out $200 gift cards to help pay for groceries.
The Arizona’s Family Surprise Squad team wanted to spread some holiday cheer and went to the Fry’s Food Store at 7th Street and Baseline Road to surprise some of the morning shoppers.
One of the shoppers was a dad with his young son who just had a tooth taken out, so they were at the store to cheer the boy up by buying some pumpkins.
Jeanie said during the holidays, she often has plenty of volunteers and many donations, but those tend to go away when the summer months roll around. Jeanie often has to use her own money to cover expenses.
“I love helping people out,” Ian Schwartz said with a smile. “Your Valley Toyota Dealers trying to make Christmas just a little brighter for folks in the Valley.”
With the holidays right around the corner, most people would rather spend their hard-earned money buying presents for loved ones instead of filling up the tank.
