Kamala Harris to make campaign stop in Arizona on Friday
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Vice President Kamala Harris will be coming to the Valley later this week as she continues her campaign before the presidential election.
The Democratic presidential nominee will hit the campaign trail across key battleground states, including Arizona and Nevada.
Campaign officials say Harris will be in Arizona on Friday before traveling to Nevada on Sunday. Additional details about Friday’s visit, such as a location and time, were not immediately released.
These visits follow Harris’ travel last week across reported “Blue Wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, officials say.
Harris was previously in Glendale in early August alongside her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
On Monday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The Trump campaign also plans to hold two events Friday in Michigan.
On Saturday, Harris accepted an invitation from CNN for another presidential debate, but Trump argued that it was “just too late,” saying that voting has already begun. Trump has previously said he would not debate Harris again, announcing in a post on Truth Social Sept. 12 that “There will be no third debate.”
