(CNN) - Panera Bread has reached the first settlement among several wrongful death lawsuits regarding one of its now-discontinued “Charged Lemonade” drinks.

The lawyer representing the family of Sarah Katz told USA Today a deal was made but could not provide specifics.

Additional “Charged Lemonade” cases remain pending.

In 2022, the 21-year-old Katz collapsed hours after having some of the caffeinated lemonade and later died in an area hospital.

Katz was diagnosed with a heart issue as a child and avoided energy drinks, however, she didn’t realize that the drink had a high caffeine content.

A Panera spokesperson released a statement to USA Today that said, “Our hearts go out to her family.”
