(CNN) - A recent Qantas flight from Sydney to Tokyo got extremely uncomfortable when a racy film was played on all the aircraft’s screens for nearly an hour.

According to a statement from the Australian airline, there was a technical issue with the in-flight entertainment system.

Qantas did not name the movie.

However, according to multiple reports, the film was “Daddio,” a 2023 drama starring Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn.

The film has an R rating due to language, sexual material and brief graphic nudity.

Passengers were unable to pause or turn off their screens when the movie was playing.

Qantas said the crew initially tried to fix the screens for customers who did not want to watch the movie, but once confirmed this was not possible, they switched it to a children’s film.

The airline said it has since apologized to passengers for what happened and is following up with them.
