‘The Office’ star Jenna Fischer reveals breast cancer diagnosis

(CNN) - Actress Jenna Fischer is opening up about her struggle with breast cancer.
Fischer, who is best known for her role in the show “The Office,” took to Instagram on Tuesday.
She wrote that she was diagnosed with Stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer last December.
She had surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation and is now cancer-free.
The 50-year-old said she’s sharing her story because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Fischer reminded women to not skip getting a mammogram.
