Northern Arizona man arrested after posting mass shooting threats
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (AZFamily) — A northern Arizona man was arrested on Sunday after posting mass shooting threats online, police say.
On Friday, Flagstaff police received reports of the threatening posts on various school, government and business Yelp review platforms and identified the suspect as 36-year-old Justin Wayne Hill of Ash Fork.
Police say Coconino Community College was one of the schools involved in the investigation. On Friday, the school decided to close all three campus locations until further notice due to a safety threat.
An arrest warrant was issued for Hill, and two days later, on Sunday, he was apprehended in Bozeman, Montana.
“The non-stop work hours and asset resources made available by all agencies involved to quickly apprehend Mr. Hill underscores our dedication to protecting our communities from threats of violence and ensuring public safety,” Flagstaff Police said in a statement.
No other information about the case has been released.
