Former president Donald Trump to visit southern Arizona next week
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — For the second time in three months, ex-president Donald Trump is coming to Arizona next week.
The Republican presidential nominee is scheduled to visit Sierra Vista, which is just 15 miles from the Arizona-Mexico border.
However, no one has confirmed he’ll go to the border.
Next week is also the start of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, with President Joe Biden expected to speak on Monday and Vice President Kamala Harris scheduled to speak on Thursday.
Trump was in the Grand Canyon state in June for a campaign rally in Phoenix. It was the first since being convicted of 34 felony counts for falsifying business records in the so-called “hush money” trial.
It was held at Dream City Church on Cave Creek Road.
