Kitten rescued from Mesa apartment ceiling is up for adoption; here’s how you can adopt her
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’re looking for a little orange tabby to add to your home, we’ve just found the perfect one.

Meet Nala. She’s a seven-week-old orange tabby rescued from a ceiling in March at an apartment in Mesa.
After being rescued, animal officials say she spent weeks at AHS’ trauma hospital, where she was treated for being underweight, cuts, dehydration, and an upper respiratory infection.
Nala was one of nearly 600 kittens the Arizona Humane Society cared for just this year alone, and officials are expecting more with kitten season being underway.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, too. So if you’re wanting to help volunteer, you can participate as a Foster Hero, to help take care of kitten and puppies who are looking for their forever home. Each year, upwards of 22,000 pets are taken care of by AHS.
You can find Nala at AHS’ PetSmart location in Scottsdale. To learn more about Nala or find other adoptable pets, visit azhumane.org/adopt.
