ASU West student hospitalized after being stabbed inside classroom
GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A suspect is in custody after a student was stabbed inside a classroom at Arizona State University’s West Valley campus in Glendale on Thursday.
It happened at around 11:45 a.m. at the campus near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
An ASU spokesman said a woman stabbed another woman inside the room. It’s unclear what led up to the stabbing.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where she’s expected to survive.
Police haven’t released any details about the suspect or any recommended charges.
An investigation is ongoing.
