A woman and two children were found dead inside a burning backyard casita earlier this week west of Buckeye.

Firefighters from several agencies responded to a property at 355th Avenue and Elliot Road, near Arlington, around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday and found a barn-style building in the backyard engulfed in flames.

After the fire was extinguished, crews found three bodies inside.

Neighbors say the barn had been converted and was being used as a backyard casita.

The fire remains under investigation and MCSO says there’s so far no indication of foul play.
