Deputies ID woman, 2 children found dead in casita fire west of Buckeye
ARLINGTON, AZ (AZFamily) — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has identified three people who were found dead following a fire in a backyard casita earlier this week west of Buckeye.
The victims have been identified as 36-year-old Cayla Clark and two children: an 11-year-old and a 4-year-old. An MCSO spokesperson said all three are “known relatives,” but didn’t provide a specific relationship.

Firefighters from several agencies responded to a property at 355th Avenue and Elliot Road, near Arlington, around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday and found a barn-style building in the backyard engulfed in flames.
After the fire was extinguished, crews found three bodies inside.
Neighbors say the barn had been converted and was being used as a backyard casita.
The fire remains under investigation and MCSO says there’s so far no indication of foul play.
