Buckeye 12-year-old arrested for allegedly making threats against Wisconsin school
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A girl in Buckeye was arrested for making alleged threats against a school in Wisconsin. This comes just days after a boy was arrested in Phoenix Friday after police say the teen made threats against 12 Phoenix-area schools.
On Sunday morning, Buckeye police were contacted by the South Milwaukee Police Department about a school threat investigation in their area. South Milwaukee PD found the IP address was linked to a Buckeye home.
Buckeye officers went to the home, interviewed a 12-year-old suspect and collected evidence.
She was then arrested and booked on felony charges, including making a terroristic threat.
No threats were made against Buckeye schools, and the community is not in danger. No other information about the incident or investigation has been released.
This is the latest incident in a series of school threat arrests nationwide.
