Man injured after gunfire shot through window of north Phoenix home

Officers found a man who had been shot, and he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was hospitalized after bullets were fired through the window of a north Phoenix residence on Monday night.

Phoenix police responded to the shooting around 11 p.m. near 51st and Grovers avenues. Officers found a man who had been shot, and he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

When detectives responded, they learned that the man was inside the home when he was struck by a bullet that was fired by an unknown suspect through the home’s window.

The suspect fled the area before police responded. No suspect information was made available.
