Glendale police search for suspect in armed robbery at ATM
GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) —The Glendale Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at an ATM this summer.
The robbery happened on June 18 near 66th Avenue and Bethany Home Road just before 5 p.m.
Surveillance video shows a suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet approaching a couple who had just withdrawn money from the ATM. A confrontation can be seen between the suspect and the couple.
The suspect then reportedly places a handgun on the man’s back and demands the money they had just withdrawn. After getting the money, the suspect is seen forcing the couple back into their vehicle and then punches the man.
The suspect then left the area on his motorcycle.
