Mesa grandmother wins $1 million at Chandler casino
CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A Mesa grandmother is now a millionaire after winning big at a Chandler casino!
On Saturday, Gila River Resorts & Casinos—Lone Butte announced that Wanda D, of Mesa, won $1 million playing the Million Dollar King of Cards progressive jackpot, a game exclusively available at the casino.
“I am beyond excited and can hardly believe it,” said Wanda. “This will allow me to help my family in so many ways, and I’m looking forward to taking more time to travel, something I’ve always dreamed of doing.”
Wanda’s win is the second million-dollar prize awarded at the casino.
“As a devoted grandmother and mother, Wanda’s first thought was for her family, and we are thrilled to see her use this opportunity to enrich their lives,” said Denise Pfaff, General Manager of Lone Butte.
