Impairment suspected in crash that left 3 seriously hurt in Guadalupe
GUADALUPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A driver has been detained following a serious, three-car crash Friday afternoon in Guadalupe.
The collision happened around 3:30 p.m. at Calle Guadalupe and Avenida del Yaqui, just east of Interstate 10.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirms that three people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. On Saturday, MCSO says that one adult and two children remain in the hospital in stable condition.
MCSO also says a driver was taken into custody for suspected impairment. Speed could have also been a factor in the crash.
