Medieval Times Scottsdale debuts new show for first time since 2017
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’re a fan of jousting, horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times Scottsdale has a treat for you!
The popular attraction is launching its first new show since 2017, scheduled to kick off on Friday. The launch coincides with Medieval Times’ 40th anniversary.
Staff says the new show will center around a powerful alliance between a king and a queen, each leading their own kingdoms who unite to usher in an era of peace. It will feature new characters and stunts while keeping the favorite parts guests love — heart-pounding jousting, intense sword fights between knights, skilled horsemanship and falconry.
“Producing a new show is a huge undertaking, from creating a new script, to choreographing each scene and perfectly synchronizing the timing of music and lighting, along with food service,” Jim Collins, Director of Stunt Choreography for Medieval Times, said in a statement. “We’ve been working on this new show for the past two years and have conducted extensive knight and horse training to pack as much action as possible into the storyline. We’re excited to bring it to life and have no doubt it will have our guests on the edge of their seats.”

And what better way to enjoy the show than over a delicious, four-course feast? Medieval Times offers various meal options, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Don’t forget to grab refreshments from the bar or request a drink from your server!
Tickets to the new show can be purchased online now at medievaltimes.com/scottsdale.
