Phoenix-area dental office offers free dental care on Labor Day

CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — It’s a labor of love for dental care workers across the Valley on Labor Day.
On Monday, the Risas Dental and Braces offices will offer free dental care for patients at 14 locations across the Valley.
This is the 13th year Risas Dental and Braces has provided this service for the Valley community. The dental office will provide around $500,000 worth of free dental care, and that is Something Good.
Patients can choose between having a tooth pulled, getting a filling, cleaning or an exam.
“For me, the purest form of service is doing something for others that they can’t do themselves; that’s dentistry,” said Nick Gardener, COO of Risas Dental and Braces. “It means the world to help the community, help those in need, and just be able to do it for free, it’s awesome.”
Some residents have been waiting outside the Chandler dental office near Ray Road and Arizona Avenue since 5 a.m.
“I can’t wait to get my teeth cleaned and feel fresher, and it’s just worth waking up for this,” said a Valley resident who has been coming to the Labor of Love free dental care event for the last four years.
