PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s finally starting to cool down in the Valley, but it has been a long and hot summer!

Luckily, the Phoenix Police Foundation has been treating hundreds of kids to some cool treats to get them through those scorching days, and that’s Something Good.

The Phoenix Police Foundation teamed up with Courtesy Chevrolet to deliver popsicles to children at Emerson Elementary School in Phoenix.

Earlier this month, they brought the refreshing, icy, sweet treats to around 200 pre-k through 5th graders.

Courtesy Chevrolet donated and custom-wrapped the van so the Phoenix Police Foundation had some cool wheels for the special deliveries.

These visits will also hopefully help Phoenix Police build bridges with the community to establish trust in local neighborhoods.
