CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) —A Chandler woman is spreading her love for golf while building a community, and that’s Something Good.
Donna Taylor quit her day job and started giving golf lessons to women who wanted to try the sport for various reasons. Her group, Golf Party Live, practices at the Ocotillo Golf Club, near Ocotillo and Alma School roads, and has become popular with women who are figuring out that golf can be life-changing.
“The people who come to me, they want to be active. They really desperately want to have community,” said Taylor.
Golf is hard, yet it can be so satisfying. Golf Party Live has a great vibe for women who want to enjoy this great game without feeling conscious about a bad shot.
“I’m obsessed. I’ve been to every single golf retreat that she’s done. I bought really expensive clubs. I bought all the cute outfits. I love golf. I love everything about it,” said golfer Michelle Taylor.
Golf Party Live also offers local retreats, where the women travel out of town with golf bags to experience weekends they’ll never forget and create life-long memories.
