1 killed, 2 hurt in crash on US 60 in Wittmann
WITTMANN (AZFamily) — One person is dead, and two others are injured after an overnight crash just outside of the Valley on Saturday.
The Department of Public Safety says around 12:30 a.m., two vehicles collided on the westbound lanes of the US 60 near Dove Valley Road in Wittmann, roughly 15 miles northwest of Sun City West. One person died in the wreck, and two others were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The westbound lanes were closed for several hours but reopened just after 9:30 a.m.
Troopers are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
