PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is dead after a fast-moving trailer fire in Phoenix Saturday night.

At 7:30 p.m., firefighters responded to reports of a house fire near 35th and Glendale avenues. When they arrived, they discovered a residential trailer fully engulfed in flames.

Crews immediately began attacking the blaze and made their way into the trailer. While inside, they found the woman’s body.

Firefighters extinguished the fire before it spread into the home. The residents were unaffected, and no other injuries were reported.

Phoenix Police secured the scene, and the Phoenix Fire Investigations Task Force is working to determine what caused the deadly fire.

“It goes to show you how dangerous fires can be, especially in a small structure and if there are no safety precautions like smoke detectors,” Phoenix Fire Capt. Scott Douglass said.

Preliminary information suggests no signs of foul play.
