State Farm Stadium named cheapest in NFL for families
GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Families looking to take in a sports game know it could have a big impact on their wallets.
But football fans looking to catch an Arizona Cardinals game may not have to spend as much compared to other cities.
In a recent study from sports betting company The Action Network, State Farm Stadium in Glendale was ranked as the cheapest in the entire league for a family of four to catch an NFL game.
The Cardinals’ stadium ranks cheapest in part because the average ticket is under $100.
The study found that an average family of four would spend $452.46 on a Cardinals game. The cost included four tickets, two beers, two soft drinks, four hot dogs and parking.
Food and drink costs at State Farm Stadium rank in the cheapest third of the league, and parking is the third cheapest of any NFL stadium.
The Cardinals recently announced new luxurious seating offerings for high-end fans this coming season. Much of the new seating will be located at or near field level, giving ticket holders the closest experience without being on the sideline. However, the most significant and likely most notable change will be coming to the team’s end zone seating at the south end of State Farm Stadium.
Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, was ranked as the most expensive for a family of four in the NFL. On average, a family should expect to spend $750.65 for the same experience. The Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium had the highest ticket costs.
