PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Suns’ 3-point shooting just got a major boost for at least the next four years.

The Suns and sharpshooting guard Grayson Allen agreed to a four-year, $70 million contract extension though 2027-28, according to The Athletic.

Allen’s first season in Phoenix was a breakout year for him, especially in 3-point shooting. He averaged 13.5 points per game, 49.9% from the field and a league-best 46.1% beyond the arc.

The Suns locked up the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference playoffs on Sunday, and they’ll face the No. 3 seed Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round.
