Phoenix Suns announce in-season tournament schedule
Emirates NBA Cup 2024 tips off on Nov. 12
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Suns have announced the game schedule for the Emirates NBA Cup 2024, the league’s in-season tournament coming this November. Tickets go on sale this week.
The second-annual tournament tips off on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and will begin with Group Play. During this stage, the 15 teams in each conference are divided into three groups of five teams by random drawing.
The Suns are in West Group B, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz. See the Suns’ four-game Group Play schedule below:

Following Group Play, eight teams will advance to the Knockout Rounds. That includes the team with the best standing in Group Play in each of the six groups and one wild card team from each conference.
The 22 teams not moving on in the tournament will each play two regular-season games.
The Knockout Rounds will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11. The losing teams from this stage will play each other in a regular-season game in mid-December.
The Semifinals round will be played on Dec. 14, followed by the Championship game on Dec. 17, both of which will be played in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the Suns’ home games on Nov. 26 and Dec. 3 go on sale at 8 a.m. MST on Wednesday with a three-game pack that also includes a to-be-determined game that would happen between Dec. 10-16 (pending results of Group Play). Tickets will be available at Suns.com.
Opening night for the NBA regular season is Tuesday, Oct. 22, featuring two games as the Boston Celtics take on the New York Knicks and the Minnesota Timberwolves face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Full schedules are not expected to be released until later this month.
