The Valley Suns, NBA G League affiliate of the Phoenix Suns, will host open tryouts this Saturday, Sept. 7, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sun Devil Fitness Complex’s Maroon and Gold Gym at Arizona State University in Tempe.

Anyone wishing to try out for the team must complete registration documents, which will be sent via email, and pay a non-refundable registration fee of $300. Registration must be completed online by 5 p.m. on Friday. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted.
There are a few requirements to be eligible for tryouts.
- Must be at least 18 years old by the date of tryouts.
- Must not be considered a “prospect.”
- Must not be an international player.
- Must not have been eligible for and gone through an NBA Draft.
No previous experience is required as long as registration and NBA G League requirements are met.
There will not be any spectators allowed at the tryouts.
Before each G League season, teams hold open tryouts in a search for local talent to add to their rosters. A team can invite up to three players from its tryout to fall training camp.
The Valley Suns’ first game is set for Nov. 8 on the road against the Santa Cruz Warriors, and the team will open its home slate against the Stockton Kings on Nov. 11 at Mullett Arena in Tempe.
