Phoenix shutter company settles with Arizona AG’s Office
On Your Side exposed the owner for taking money and not delivering the product
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Attorney General’s Office settled with a shutter and blind company accused of scamming clients and not returning their money.
In a previous On Your Side report, Gary Harper confronted Kevin Cash, who owned All Good Shutter and Blinds.
“I’m going to give back his money,” Cash said after being asked about refunding a customer.
“He called me because you haven’t, and he’s tired of waiting,” Harper replied.
“Okay, I will give him back his money,” Cash said. “We’re just having some financial issues. We’re going to close the business, and I’ll give back his money.”
On Your Side kept getting complaints from viewers who all shared the same story. They say they gave thousands of dollars to Cash for shutters, and they never received them.
But, the past has finally caught up with Cash. The Arizona Attorney General got involved.
After investigating, they reached this settlement, ordering the businessman to pay just over $62,570 in restitution for the money he pocketed.
The AG demanded $27,570 upfront and is allowing Cash to pay the remaining balance in monthly payments over the next two years. The AG’s Office said it will then return those funds to customers who filed complaints and have been victimized by All Good Shutter and Blinds.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of this company, contact the AG’s Office, and you will be reimbursed.
