These are the restaurants around Maricopa County found with the most health code violations this week.

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5)Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for Jan. 31, 2024:

Summit Diner - 32531 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale

3 violations

  • Cooked meatloaf next to raw chicken
  • Turkey, sour cream and cheese not kept cold enough
  • Green pill bottle near food products

Barro’s Pizza - 1130 W Grove Ave, Mesa

4 violations

  • Employee not washing hands long enough after handling raw sausage
  • Pizza sauce not held at proper temperature
  • Toxic substances not labeled
  • Large amounts of food pieces stuck in between fryer baskets
