Raw chicken stored on floor, food kept too long among violations at Phoenix-area restaurants
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for Feb. 28, 2024:

- Raw ground beef stored above bacon
- Toxic substances not labeled
Pubblico Italian Eatery - 5813 N. 7th St., Phoenix
3 violations
- Employee handling dirty dishes then clean dishes without washing hands
- Raw pork stored on top of box of zucchini
- Pans of raw chicken stored on the floor
Someburros Mexican Food - 3461 W. Frye Rd., Chandler
3 violations
- Employee handling food – then touching clothing – then continuing to work
- Salsa and ranch dressing not kept cold enough
- Carne asada not kept hot enough
Tortillas De Harina Linda - 635 N. Country Club Dr., Mesa
4 violations
- Eggs stored above raw onions
- Food kept past discard date
- Steak and beans not kept at proper temperature
- Dishes not cleaned properly
