Hot day ahead for Phoenix area with slim chance for rain
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Another mild morning in Phoenix with temperatures in the 80s and 70s. We will see a hot day ahead in the Valley with a high 110 degrees later on this afternoon.
We have a chance for storms later this evening and into tomorrow morning, with about a 20% chance to see accumulating rain in the Phoenix Metro. Unfortunately, many locations will not see accumulating rain.
The best chance for storms will be east of Phoenix in the mountains. If we don’t see rain today or tomorrow in Phoenix, we are looking at the dry pattern as we head into the Labor Day weekend.
Wednesday will bring more clouds and cooler temperatures with highs around 106.
Our average high in Phoenix for this time of the year is 105 degrees.
We will step our temperatures up for the end of the workweek to about 108 degrees and stay in that pattern as we head into the Labor Day weekend.
Labor Day looks dry for Phoenix with highs right around 108 degrees with sunshine.
Have a great day!
