Tim Walz to speak in Phoenix on same night as presidential debate

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Walz is scheduled to arrive in Phoenix on the same day as the ABC Presidential Debate scheduled for Sept. 10.
A campaign spokesperson confirmed that the Minnesota governor will travel to Texas, Nevada, and Arizona on Monday and Tuesday for a number of political events.
On Tuesday, Walz is scheduled to deliver remarks in Las Vegas before arriving in Phoenix around midday. The governor will then speak at an unspecified political event at 5:30 p.m. Arizona time.
The ABC Presidential Debate Simulcast will air on 3TV and CBS 5. It will also be livestreamed on AZFamily.com and our free mobile and streaming TV apps. It is set to start at 6 p.m. Arizona time and is scheduled to last 90 minutes.

Earlier this week, JD Vance spoke at two separate events in the Valley, including one organized by the conservative group, Turning Point USA.
